Emi Love
Emi Love is the witchy, herbalist, sister songstress, wombyn that started Life Is Yoga Mama in 2020, based on this catch phrase that seemed to capture the essence of her knowing that Union (yoga) really meant to be tuned into whatever aspect of life you were focusing on… not just yoga on the mat. This embarked her on a mission to reunite with life and family as her ultimate yoga journey. Since then her family has grown with the arrival of her daughter in 2023, birthing her onto a new path of Shala Mama. The work she shares through her Sacred Songbook, nourishing workshops, Womens circles, womb healing sessions & handmade herbals are her gift back to other mystic mamas who seek a deeper, authentic lifestyle that connects us to True Nature. Founding the Sacred Grounds for the greater community of ABQ and beyond, is a vision that has been in the works for many years.
Dan Hooke is Kokopelli Rocks and co-founder of Sacred Grounds Ministry. He is father to our beloved child, a master flute maker, medicine man, drum maker, sound healer, yoni throne creator & giver of life beyond self. Working with one of his creations is more than an experience, it will change your cellular structure and enhance your vibrational life on all levels! We offer his artisan instruments along side journeys, 1:1 sessions & medicine tool workshops. He is a fine maker of crafts and a custom builder who helps others create the dreams they envision. He is also our main gardener and has dedicated the past 5 years to his earthwork on this project. Ecstatically blessed to be partnered with this king of sound, harmony and herbal medicine. Join Dan at one of his bi-monthly drum circles in the park for an authentic drumming down of the Sun ritual.

When our hearts are fully aligned with our purpose, real community can be created. Our mission is to help others foster the faith and connection to Higher Source. Connection is enough to build foundations that are able to withstand all adversity. We take inspiration for biblical quotes that honor the preservation of holy grounds. It is in these times of great change that we must cling to collective efforts to grow food, sustain the future grounds for our children & to network with others believers in this work!
Exodus 3:5
Then He said, …”Take your sandals off your feet, for the place where you stand is holy ground.'”
In this verse, God speaks to Moses from within a burning bush and instructs him to remove his sandals because the ground he is standing on is holy. This encounter signifies the presence of God and the sacredness of the place.
May it be so that we follow in these footsteps as we continue to create sacred space & holy grounds.
